GamePlayTracker Pro ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our mobile application, how we use it, and your choices.
Your game collection — including game titles, images, play counts, notes, and settings — is stored entirely on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up (see Section 1.3).
We do not have access to your game collection data.
We collect anonymous, aggregated analytics to understand how features are used and to improve the app. This is opt-out: you can disable it at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share Usage Analytics.

Important: game_id values are randomly generated local identifiers. They cannot be used to identify a specific game without access to your local device data. We do not collect game titles, descriptions, images, notes, or any other game content.
The online_search_used event includes the text you typed into the BoardGameGeek search box. This is typically a board game name. We use this solely to understand which features are used most.
Analytics data is stored in a Supabase database. No user account ID, name, email address, or device identifier is attached to any analytics row.
If you choose to connect your Dropbox account and enable cloud backup, your game collection is saved as a JSON file in your personal Dropbox storage. This data is stored in your Dropbox account, subject to Dropbox's own Privacy Policy. We do not store a copy of your backup data on our servers.
You can disconnect Dropbox at any time in Settings → Cloud Backup → Disconnect Dropbox.
Subscription purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous customer identifier to track subscription status. No payment card information is shared with us. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
The app requests access to your camera and photo library only to let you add images to games. Images are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit your photos to any server.
We use analytics data solely to:
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
You can disable all analytics collection at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share Usage Analytics. Once disabled, no further events will be sent.
You can delete your entire local game collection and app settings from Settings → Privacy → Delete All Local Data.
To request deletion of any analytics data associated with your device, contact us at support@rork.com. Because our analytics are anonymous and contain no user identifier, we can process deletion requests based on device platform and approximate usage period.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact us at support@rork.com to exercise these rights.
Analytics events are retained for up to 24 months before being purged. Local device data (your game collection) is retained until you delete it or uninstall the app. Dropbox backup files are retained in your Dropbox account under your control.
GamePlayTracker Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your game collection is stored on-device and never transmitted to our servers. Analytics data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a secured database with access controls. We take reasonable precautions to protect your data, but no system is completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
